Did you recently lose your telephone number to a foreign entity? Straight talk gave your info to a company so that you tin can no longer acquire that number. Why? I believe Straight talk or Verizon, same thing, has formed a corrupt agreement with Samsung in order to force consumers to purchase new devices. Wrong answer! I don't demand you anymore of in fact why should I trust companies that can't secure my cell information? Straight talk had to literally forward my IEAM info in order for that visitor to acquire my device. My point! Stop ownership Walmart Samsung devices that crave Straight talk data plans. Eventually yous volition not be able to use that telephone either. Instead of improving devices they deliberately do not update apps so they are useless on your cell telephone version. Why? So you have to buy a new device. Well I no longer use straight talk of whatever company tide in with their corruption. Wake upwardly ppl, large tech companies are taking you to the cleaners. This happened to me, I am still furious!


This company is the most horrible…

This company is the most horrible company I've ever had to bargain with. My son who is 13 sent a agglomeration of emojis to his friends in a group chat and I guess it sparked something and they permanently disabled his phone. They could never explicate why. On top of this they refuse to unlock it so I can employ it somewhere else. They say information technology's not eligible. And then I merely bought this phone and now I can't use it with them or anyone else and I'm out of luck. I take been a longtime customer and I experience extremely violated and feel like they're treating u.s.a. as criminals. All because my son was existence a typical teenager.


direct talk is worse than terrible

I just spent a very long fourth dimension, my whole evening, on the phone with diverse straight talk customer service techs, and absolutely none of them have any skill at all. They are so heavily accented that you cant understand what they say, they talk to fast, they dont mind, and they DONT FIX YOUR PROBLEM. I demanded to talk to a supervisor, and supposedly I got one, and that went nowhere. Then I again demanded to talk to a supervisor, and was again continued with someone who is purportedly 1. He jerked me around, and got me even more furious. And so he lied to me, and said that he would call me back in 30 minutes. It has been about an hour and half now, and no call back. My phone problem still exists, information technology is not fixed, and it looks like I am going to stop my account with them. They dont value their long time customers, nor do they take anyone with any real level of technical expertise to troubleshoot. They are a total joke. If you take skillful service with them, then savor information technology. When something goes wrong, and you call their tech back up, things will get s very quickly, and your experience will be similar to mine. I have put up with them since about 2008 or so, and this is it. Stay away from straight talk. You volition exist taking lisinopril before it is all over. If y'all enjoy being lied to and jerked effectually, this is the carrier for you.


Directly Talk SUCKS!!!

Straight Talk SUCKS!!!! I use to have my whole family unit of 5 with them....simply things change...and yous motility on. However, just recently I bought my son a brand new Straight Talk phone and monthly plan....get-go calendar month went fine...so I refilled his service and on solar day two...he was on a call and in the middle of the phone call...information technology merely disconnected. That was 18 days ago....the phone has not worked since!! He has spent hours on the phone with them...get-go they said your sim card is bad...we'll send you a new one...that didn't work!! And then after his terminal 2.five hour chat with them, they said nosotros will send you a replacement phone...it will get in in 2-3 business days....it's been a full week...never received a telephone. Then he chosen them again...this is literally the 15th call to set up this issue...they told him....No, nosotros will non send you a replacement telephone until you send us your phone!!! Pure BS!!! Lies later on lies, non-English speaking customer service reps...that provide NO SERVICE AT ALL!!! WILL NEVER Waste matter MY MONEY ON Directly TALK....EVER Once again!!!


I will never utilise this carrier ever…

I will never use this carrier e'er once more. My bank account was drafted for my monthly accuse on the same day I bought a new telephone through a different carrier and I was refused a refund of whatever amount for the service I was charged for. NEVER once more will I use directly talk. This is unbelievable


The phone service works well; website sucks

I've had very little issues with the phone working and I've had the phone service for around 8 years (I forget exactly when I started and, obviously, cannot cheque my account to be certain). I can add airtime via my telephone. Merely I got a message that the website had been compromised and I should change my pin. Catch-22 is that I couldn't log in!

I've had issues in the past with the site screwing upwardly the login. Anyway, I decided to look for another carrier (still looking), just randomly tried logging in some days later. I was able to log in and-barely-able to change my pin and password.

Today, I decided to log in to come across how the site is working. I could log in, merely information technology won't allow me do anything. Information technology has some kind of alarm that it tin't do what I want at this fourth dimension. Backside the pop-up, I tin see that it says I have no phones with service, which is a large prevarication because my phone is virtually me right now and works simply fine.

So, the phone itself (which I bought from Walmart and is a Straight Talk phone - probably my fourth Straight Talk phone) gets five stars considering information technology works well, and the website (and the fact that I cannot e-mail nor conversation with Support - they used to have a chat box) gets between 0 and 1 star.


This carrier is not worth your time

At first, straight talk was doing well for me. Information technology was an upgrade from basic tracphone, and I received amend service where I live. However, now I am fed upwardly with this service provider and volition be switching immediately. The $45 and $55 options annunciate hight speed data upwards to a certain amount. The speed I have experienced using this is well-nigh 2Mbps, which is fifty-fifty slower than slow internet. However this is not the but event I have experienced.
I recently upgraded from the $45 program to the $55 plan for the mobile hotspot (which my phone is capable of doing). The same day of purchase, I ended upwardly being on the telephone with client support off and on for well-nigh 7 hours. I believe I called around 9 times total, none of them being able to aid. I was eventually transferred to corporate, who finally told me that I would need to purchase a new phone (which is a big investment). I asked if I could merely receive a refund for the programme I had purchased (think, the same day), to which I was denied a refund for whatever reason. Speeds are lackluster to say the least, customer service is lacking, and overall my experience has been extremely negative with this visitor. Do not purchase straighttalk, yous will be disappointed.


My phone is not sending caller ID info

My phone is not sending caller ID info. My customers will not answer the telephone because information technology says private calling. I have called and been on agree and been hung up on for over 2 hours and eight calls. I just want my telephone to tell other people who I am.
After going through the aforementioned story with different people they transfer me but to get hung upwards on. Customer service is very poor at the least. All they tin do is apologize.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. Took xxx minutes to finally talk to a person and so I could barely empathize them. Told him I forgot my pin and he told me how happy he was to help me with that. Starting time matter he asks for is my pivot. So I ask him to send me the verification code to my email. I tell him the email and ask him to confirm information technology. He cant, he says. So, no assistance, plainly ran past and staffed witless imbeciles.


HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Currently have been on the phone with client service for 40 minutes trying to get them to aid me gear up my boyfriends hotspot. we've been using it for months and repaid information technology yesterday and it is non working. the lady we are on the telephone with ignores u.s., has a major attitude, and is doing absolutely zilch to assistance that we haven't already done ourselves. don't even waste your time.


Practise Not BUY FROM Directly Talk

This company is USELESS. Got a bully deal on a phone just couldn't become it activated!! Over a 25 hr menstruum, I made many, many calls. I kept getting hung up on or disconnected. Never got to talk to anyone that could help. I also bought more often than not plans for both myself and my wife, neither of which ever got used since I couldn't get the phone activated.
The only way I finally got to talk to someone in their porting department was to purchase a new telephone from Verizon and told their porting department what was happening and to stop any transfer to Straightalk. Verizon's porting department called direct talk and forwarded the call to me. The homo I spoke to was rude and useless.
I will say that Straightalk was quick to issue a credit for the charges for the phone and SIM bill of fare only refuse to credit me the $68.00 for the air fourth dimension plans.
THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES!!!!
I could understand if either of the airtime plans was activated only that is not the case.
Verizon could not have been more helpful switching me dorsum and getting my new phone activated.


Client Service

Service was decent until I needed a new sim card and when I finally received information technology I went at to the lowest degree 4 weeks without information subsequently numerous calls and hours on hold. I finally said screw it and switched to Verizon and when my new sim carte arrived from them I was set in less than 30 minutes with no phone calls to be made. I also noticed when i got Verizon'southward sim card my telephone was WAY behind on software updates, so possibly Straight Talk'south sim menu may hold your phone back from updating. Key takeaway is Direct Talks customer service is TERRIBLE. Worst I've e'er dealt with.


I should have read the reviews for this…

I should have read the reviews for this company start. I bought a SIM card from them and unlimited information for 30 days to use while visiting in the Us. The package says it'southward uniform with certain unlocked phones which mine was. But when I tried to use information technology they said it wasn't compatible. What a waste of €55. Plus the people you talk to in the client service are hard to understand.


I will never use directly talk again

I will never use directly talk again. Transferring my phone number took more than than 4 hours of speaking to representatives and their website does not readily requite you your personal information including your account number. I'chiliad most to rip my hair out of my head bc of how painful it is to use striaght talk. i'k pissed

DONT TRUST Straight TALK

This is the worst service experience ever. I take been with Straight Talk for 3 yrs 2nd upgrade 1st was seamless number ported over and everything. This one OMG 1st I paid for overnight shipping didn't get the parcel till a calendar week later. 2nd get the phone and activation fails. I have been thru several agents once they cant figure out what's going on they hang upwardly. Warning DONT TRUST THIS SERVICE I cant wait to swap


I went to change my telephone number…

I accept had this telephone# for a minute though, new telephone; am moving dorsum down to Florida therefore, wanted to modify my phone# to Florida# {have changed phone# once before, was no consequence final phone# change} after requesting new telephone# had close my telephone off, turned it dorsum on and even waited an hour though, wasn't given my new number like requested and showed on my phone, yet have old number 1 I idea was being changed... called customer service and even though I've had this phone# for a infinitesimal, just paid my pecker am #good to April 25th, they had me answer ALL these security questions etc. and in the end, they wasn't able to give me my new phone# and my phone, bags because, my phone# I wanted to modify, no longer exists; AM HEATED


I spent four+ HOURS on line with customer…

I spent 4+ HOURS on line with customer disservice to actuate my new device b/c they messed up porting my phone number Within THEIR Own NETWORK. One-half a year later and I cannot access my business relationship or reset the password using the electronic mail link they sent me. the online C.S. chatline was completely unhelpful. If y'all desire to spend hours talking to customer service and await days for resolution, then this is the perfect program for yous you!


This business is run by consummate morons…

This concern is run by complete morons that have absolutely no clue what they are doing. The customer service is the worst I have always experienced. They practise not care about their customers, even those such equally myself who has ignorantly been a customer for 5+ years. I requested a call from them yesterday, only to never receive that call. That shows how much I matter to them as a valued customer. I will be looking for another telephone provider soon.
